Motto: God, Home, and Country
The DAR is open to any woman 18 years or older who can prove lineal, bloodline descent from an ancestor who aided in achieving American independence. She must provide documentation for each statement of birth, marriage, and death, as well as the Revolutionary War service of her Patriot ancestor. Our chapter registrar and Lineage Research Committee are eager to help prospective members join our chapter in Omaha.
The DAR is a nonprofit, nonpolitical volunteer women's service organization dedicated to promoting patriotism, preserving American history, and securing America's future through better education. Since its founding on October 11, 1890, more than 895,000 women have joined the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, in over 3,000 chapters around the world. These vibrant, active women are the heart of the organization.
The chapter registrar and the Lineage Research Committee of Major Isaac Sadler - La Belle Vue Chapter, NSDAR, willingly support prospective members in completing application forms and assist with research and documentation. If you are interested in membership, please contact our chapter. To prepare for your meeting with our chapter registrar, please complete the pedigree chart and bring any additional information you have.
